Our premium and tournament sets meet U.S. National Kubb size regulations. Our premium sets are finished with a waterproof stain and meticulously hand painted white stripe.

Q: Where did they game come from? Vikings?!?!

A: Kubb is a Scandinavian game that has been played for hundreds of years. The rumor is that late era vikings developed the game to celebrate defeating their enemies in battle. Instead of wood pieces though, they us the bones and skulls of their victims as games pieces. Today the World Championships of Kubb are held overseas on the Swedish island of Gotland .

Q: What type of wood are your Kubb sets? Why?

A: The wood used in our finished products is Poplar. After testing several other hardwoods we chose Poplar for several reasons: it is very light allowing it be easily carried to any occasion in our tote bags, less dangerous while playing an actual game, is still very durable.
